Reasons to Give
Find Your Reason to Give
The Greater Nashua community has faced many struggles since the pandemic began but it is the kindness, resilience, and love shown by our supporters that have been paramount in helping us get through it. As members of our community continue to recover, the Y is asking for your donation to continue to have an impact in the lives of the individuals and families who need us now more than ever.
Giving to the Y allows you to support immediate needs in your community. When families need food resources, the senior population needs a place to connect with others, parents need child care or summer camp to return to work, the Y is there…with your help.Learn More About the YMCA
When you give the to the Y, you give directly to the community. Read below to learn a little more about how donations are utilized to help your neighbors:
The Y is addressing immediate and long-term social, emotional and behavioral health needs of the community in response to the pandemic by providing scholarships for individuals and families to help support their health and wellness goals.
The Y is assisting parents and guardians by providing scholarships for child care so that they can return to work, confidently knowing that their child is being supported, educated and active. One in four children will need financial assistance.
The Y provides free swim lessons to many of the communities Title 1 schools and also provides scholarships to individuals and families to ensure that they are more confident and safer around water by learning how to swim.Donate Today
Summer is a vital time for all children in our community to have a calm, stable, and supportive place to let kids just be kids. Now more than ever before, the Y and our community must prioritize affordable programs that teach social development and character building. Your financial assistance can provide a summer camp experience to a child that would otherwise not be able to attend.Donate Today
