The following programs are offered through the YMCA of Greater Nashua.
- Y Academy Kindergarten Readiness - Nashua YMCA
Y Academy is a licensed, 3 hour, kindergarten readiness program for 3-5 year olds held at the Nashua Y.From 9am-12pm your child will participate in an exciting hands-on curriculum program with qualified, nurturing staff members, creating an environment that will support each child’s social, emotional and cognitive growth and development.
Children will join in literacy learning, science, math, nutrition and physical education!
Choose from 2, 3 and 5 day a week options.

- Full Day Child Care - Merrimack YMCA
Monday – Friday 6:30am – 6pm (Part-time/Half day options are available)Our Infant Program at the Merrimack YMCA is an early childhood education program designed specifically for children from birth to 12 months This program focuses on supporting the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development of infants in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Infant (6 weeks-1 year): $396Y Members/$425 Community
Our Toddler One program at the Merrimack Y Early Education Center helps children flourish cognitively, emotionally, socially, and physically by providing a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment rooted in play and responsive caregiving.
Toddler One’s: $370 Y Members/$398 Community
Our Toddler Two Program is thoughtfully designed for children aged 24 to 36 months, focusing on nurturing their growing independence, curiosity, and language development. At this stage, toddlers are exploring the world with greater mobility and a stronger sense of self. Our program provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment that encourages active learning through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions.

- Preschool - Merrimack YMCAMonday – Friday 6:30am – 6pm (Part-time/Half day options are available)
Our Preschool Program is designed to prepare children ages 3 to 4 for a successful transition to kindergarten and beyond. Grounded in developmentally appropriate practices, our curriculum nurtures each childs social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth through purposeful play, hands-on exploration, and teacher-guided learning.
Preschool: $338 Y Members/$367 Community
Our Pre-Kindergarten Program is designed to support children ages 4 to 5 as they prepare for a smooth and confident transition to kindergarten. Through a balance of structured learning and play-based exploration, our program fosters academic readiness, social-emotional growth, and a love of learning in a warm, supportive environment.

- Kindergarten - Merrimack YMCAOur Kindergarten Program offers a comprehensive, nurturing, and academically rich environment designed to support children ages 5 to 6 as they take the next big step in their educational journey. Rooted in both play-based learning and intentional instruction, our program prepares children for elementary school while honoring their natural curiosity, creativity, and individuality.
Our curriculum aligns with early elementary standards, emphasizing foundational skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Children develop strong literacy and numeracy skills through engaging, hands-on activities.
