Your feet are tapping already

Dance is a great workout for your mind, body and spirit. From progressive kids dance classes to fun dance workouts for all ages, we have your perfect dance class here at the YMCA of Greater Nashua.

Our Dance Program classes require pre-registration. Browse the descriptions below, follow the links to register and use the search function to view available classes. If you’re looking to drop in on a group exercise class, visit the group exercise page.

  • Progressive Dance Program

    Join a National Award Winning Dance Team with Our Progressive
    Dance Program at the YMCA of Greater Nashua!

    Our Progressive Dance programs, starting in the fall each year, are designed to introduce children to basic techniques for whichever style of dance they choose. We have hip hop, ballet, lyrical, jazz, Irish dance, acro dance and tap classes available in these programs, and children can start learning as early as age 4.

    The programs have a year end recital where they can show off what they learned and feel proud of their progress.

  • Mid-Year Dance Program

    Our Mid-Year Dance programs, starting in January each year, are designed to introduce children to basic techniques for whichever style of dance they choose. We have hip hop, ballet, lyrical, jazz and tap classes available, and children can start learning as early as age 4.

    All dancers participating in Mid-Year classes will have the opportunity to perform in the end of year end where they can show off what they learned and feel proud of their progress.

  • Recreational Dance Programs

    The Greater Nashua YMCA offers recreational dance classes for children and adults.

    Kids can enjoy programs like Bitty Ballet and Tiny Tappers, while adults can explore leaps and turns, ballet, jazz, line dancing and more. Not only are these classes a blast, they’re great exercise for all ages!

  • Private Dance Lessons

    Want to better your technique and become a stronger dancer?

    Sign up for private lessons with one of our highly trained instructors!

    Schedule is based on instructor availability and studio space.

  • Dance Vacation Camps

    YMCA dance vacation camps will provide your child with memorable experiences.

    Dance vacation camp will give your dancer something fun to do during school vacation! Each day your dancer will get to try a variety of different dance techniques.

    They will learn different moves in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical. Students will learn choreography, make up dances of their own, and put on a small performance for family and friends at the end of the week!
