IN UNCERTAIN TIMES, THE Y IS STILL HERE. STAY WITH US!
At the YMCA of Greater Nashua, everything we do is guided by our Mission and the commitment to serve and support the Greater Nashua community. This is even more critical now during these unprecedented times. When you belong to the Y, you’re not only a member of a health and wellness facility, you’re a member of a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening our community. In difficult times, our YMCA pivots in response to community needs and finds ways to use our resources to offer solutions.
-
We are working with local officials and health care partners to provide critical child care for those ensuring health, safety and food security for our community. Childcare for essential workers is taking place at our Merrimack YMCA.
-
We are working with local community partners to assist in any way we can to help narrow the gap on food insecurity.
-
We are working with local health care partners to provide space for blood drives and have offered our facilities as a flex hospital space if the need arises in the Greater Nashua community.

We have revamped how we are connecting with our members and the community through virtual wellness and online learning activities. For preschoolers and school age children, we have STEM videos, led by our teachers. Additionally, we have many options for staying connected to our group exercise and wellness instructors through Facebook live events and on our “Beyond Our Walls” video library.
