Bringing Neighbors Together for Welcoming Week

The YMCA of Greater Nashua will join Welcoming America, peer organizations, and YMCAs nationwide to celebrate Welcoming Week, September 12–21, 2025—a movement that elevates communities that fully embrace all people and their contributions.

This week-long celebration is an opportunity for neighbors to connect and celebrate what unites us. In Greater Nashua, the YMCA will host a wide range of activities that highlight cultural traditions, encourage community connections, and create space for meaningful dialogue. From international dance performances and hands-on master classes to storytelling, crafts for children, and wellness-focused programs like safety around water classes with interpreters, Welcoming Week at the Y offers something for all ages. Families can also look forward to multicultural food experiences, group fitness classes infused with global influences, and opportunities to contribute to community projects that celebrate belonging throughout our branches all week long. Additionally, as a proud sponsor, we invite the community to join us at the City of Nashua’s Multicultural Festival being held at the Nashua Public Library on Sunday, September 14 from 12-4pm, either in person or through the virtual live stream.
