LEE ANN PHOENIX: NASHUA YMCA WELCOME CENTER VOLUNTEER

I am really enjoying my new volunteer position at the Welcome Center at the Nashua YMCA. I used to volunteer at my boys school but now that they are older I don’t have those opportunities anymore. I have seen other members volunteering and that made me think that I would like to do that as well! I enjoy giving back to my community and that is what the YMCA is to me.

As a Welcome Center Volunteer I have the opportunity to greet members as they come and go, suggest and encourage new classes, give tours to new potential members, help answer any questions that may arise and I get to meet so many wonderful people!
