It’s Time to Join the Y. Welcome, Join us!
There are many reasons to join the Y – building endurance, losing weight, strengthening your heart, but when you join the Y, you’re committing to more than simply becoming healthier. You are supporting family-centered, value-focused programs and activities for not only it’s members, but the surrounding community too. At the Y, children learn what they can achieve, families spend quality time together, and we all build relationships that deepen our sense of belonging within the Greater Nashua region and beyond.
The YMCA: Same Great Community Hub, Yet Different!
Our community certainly looks different than it did a few months ago and we are excited to be back open with safety and care in the forefront. As we continue to reopen the YMCA facilities further, it is important for all of us to remember that while we take care of our own personal health, we all have a responsibility to the public health. As such, our YMCA will is reopening in stages with different restrictions and responsibilities for members and staff. The details of our fluid reopening opening plan can be found on our Reopening Information Page.
Just what is a YMCA – your YMCA?
The Y is a positive force in this community. For over 130 years everything the YMCA of Greater Nashua does is in service of making us – as individuals and a community – better. This impact can be seen in the lives we touch annually and throughout our storied history.
To instill values and provide opportunities for lifelong personal growth and the development of a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
The Y is for All.
Our programs, services and initiatives enable kids to realize their potential, prepare teens for college, offer ways for families to have fun together, empower people to be healthier in spirit, mind and body; prepare people for employment, welcome and embrace newcomers and help foster a nationwide service ethic. And that’s just the beginning.
