THE MISSION OF THE Y IS SUPPORTING THOSE THAT SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY!
Essential Personnel Child Care

The YMCA of Greater Nashua is offering child care services for healthcare workers, first-responders and other essential workers during the COVID-19 crisis.

We would like to thank YOU for your work in keeping our community healthy, safe and thriving. The YMCA wants to help by providing child care so that you can go to work during this critical time with peace of mind. Your child will be well cared for by trained and loving Y staff.

We are VERY proud of and grateful for all of our child care staff and teachers that are helping to support the child care needs of the essential personnel in the Greater Nashua community.

Important Program Specifics

      • YMCA staff are thoroughly cleaning the Merrimack YMCA throughout the day and each evening to maintain a healthy and safe environment.

      • YMCA staff will conduct a daily health screening of each child, care giver and staff member upon arrival to the facility every morning.

      • Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis for essential workers only.

      • Financial Assistance is Available: If you are living on a fixed or limited income, you may be eligible for financial assistance through our Y CARES financial assistance program. Assistance is determined on level of income, family size and circumstances. Completion of a Y CARES application and proof of financial need is required as outlined in the application. Information provided is kept confidential. Our child care staff would be happy to help you through the financial assistance process when you register.
