2019: A Year in Review

For 132 Years, Our Y Has Partnered with Our Community for the Greater Good

This year we celebrate 132 years of service to the Greater Nashua community. We’ve been proud to help our neighbors learn, grow, and thrive. Yet we’re called to do so much more. Our region faces new challenges that create a greater need than ever for the work we do every day. Fortunately, where some see obstacles, we see opportunities to make a difference.

For 132 years, our Y has been here:

  • Partnering with educators and parents to support learning, health and well-being inside and outside the walls of our local schools

  • Developing and delivering programs that emphasize prevention and a proactive commitment to healthy living.

  • Serving as a gathering place for individuals of all backgrounds to come together to learn, play, connect and be healthy

We will continue to strive to strengthen our community by being there for all and bringing people together. Thanks to our members, dedicated volunteers, generous donors, committed staff and enthusiastic partners, the Y is a positive force in southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we accomplished the most successful annual campaign in our Association’s history. Together, we take on the challenges that face our community and provide helpful solutions. Every day, the Y provides a place to learn, play, be healthy and give back. We invite you to review this year’s exciting accomplishments toward building a better, stronger community, one person and one family at a time.

We thank our hardworking and dedicated volunteers and staff for finding innovative approaches to improve the health of our community, help children succeed and offer meaningful ways for our members and program participants to grow and serve others. This innovation is reflected in the many major accomplishments we have seen over the past year. Take a look!
