We believe 2021 should be the year to focus on ourselves. The Y is here to help you do just that. Starting February 1, join us for Wintervention – a five week program designed to support your journey towards a better, healthier you. For just 20 minutes a day, five days a week, we challenge you to get moving this winter! By yourself, with a buddy or your whole family, we’ll come together with a common purpose, moving beyond the winter doldrums and into a NEW YOU! Each week, our Y team will motivate and inspire you with themes designed to open participants up to a purpose driven life that is focused on building strength in mind, body and spirit.

Take the Challenge, have some fun, explore the outdoors and give yourself a good Wintervention!



Registration is open January 18 – February 6, 2021.

Anyone is welcome to join the Wintervention challenge. You do NOT need to be a member of The YMCA of Greater Nashua to participate! We look forward to participation from all across the Greater Nashua community.

The Y Wintervention Challenge is FREE and open to Members & Community Members!

When you register for Wintervention, you will have the option to receive weekly text messages reminding and motivating you to complete the challenge. We have also created a private Wintervention Facebook group for all challenge participants to join. This group is for us to come together as a community, post about our wellness journey and to encourage others as they work to complete the challenge.

If you wish to be reminded of weekly activities via text message, text WINTER21 to 833-867-6274.
If you choose not to participate via text messages, you may still access each week’s activities in our Wintervention Facebook group.
For those who wish to participate offline, printed copies of the 5 week calendar will be available at each of our Wellness Centers starting Monday, February 1.




Having a prominent place in the home to post your goals to see every day and track your progress will be key in these first days. Having an accountability buddy (an AccountabiliBuddy) or partner in the challenge will provide the motivation you need within your existing network.
