Congrats to the Grads!

 

Emily Richards

Emily Richardson

Emily has been swimming competitively for eight years.  Next year she will be attending Wellesley College while majoring in harp performance and Environmental Studies.  Additionally, Emily will be competing in collegiate swim for Wellesley.

Words of Wisdom:

“Talent only takes you so far, you have to put in the work. It’ll hurt in the water, but it pays off.

As Dave always says, ‘trust the process’.”

“Always be true to yourself, and don’t be afraid to express yourself!”

“Be kind. You never know how someone’s day was or what they’re going through. Something as simple as a smile and a ‘hello’ could change someone’s entire mood. Treat everyone like they’re your best friend.”

Favorite Storm Memory:

“Going to Canobie Lake last summer with my Storm teammates”


Kevin MoscatKevin Moscat

Kevin has been swimming competitively for 4 years. His future plan is to attend Pace University in the fall as a Political Science major.

Words of Wisdom:

“Take it all in and enjoy the sport!”

Favorite Memory:

“The warm welcome received by everyone when I joined the team.”


Riley BeaudoinRiley Beaudoin

Riley has been swimming competitively for 8 years.  In the fall, she will be attending Saint Michael’s College in Vermont, majoring in Environmental Studies, and swimming for the Purple Knights!

Words of Wisdom:

 “ALWAYS show up to practice when you can, even if you don’t feel like it.”

Favorite Storm Memory:

“2021 Moose Meet, because we were able to get the whole team together.”


Juliana GuidaJuliana Guida

Juliana has been competitive swimming for 10 years.  Her future plan is to attend Lehigh University in the fall.

Words of Wisdom:

 “Promoting an atmosphere of kindness, positivity, and integrity is the best thing you can do for your team. Look out for each other and have fun doing what you love!”

Favorite quote:

“You’re trying to trick me into giving away something. It won’t work.” -The Princess Bride movie

Favorite memory:

“Saturday morning sing-along in the locker room.”


Ana HaightAna Haight

Ana started swimming when she was 8 years old. She took time off in junior high to try other sports, then returned to Storm swim team in high school. Additionally, Ana swam for the Nahua North Titans and led her team as Captain in grades 10, 11 and 12. Next year, Ana will be attending Rivier University studying business and finance.

Words of Wisdom:

“Don’t stop swimming. I wish I hadn’t taken time off, so stay with it.”

Favorite Swim Memory:

“Earning a personal best in backstroke at the Beverly Y meet. Coach Erin was very proud!”


Akash GundagathiAkash Gundagathi

Akash has been swimming competitively for 8 years. He will be attending the University of Pittsburgh in the fall majoring in Biochemisry on a pre-med track.

Words of Wisdom:

“To prioritize your mental health just as you prioritize your physical health.”
