What jobs have you held at the YMCA? I initially started as a YMCA volunteer at Kids Stop in Nashua during January 2018 and became a YMCA employee in June 2018. Working at Kids Stop has been a great experience. I get to work with a nice group of people and I really enjoy helping out with the little ones!
Where can we find you when you’re not at the Y? I most likely am spending time with my family, vacationing at Cape Cod, going to a concert or catching a Broadway play in NYC. I also volunteer as an AARP tax preparer during tax season and I like to play the ukulele just for fun.
What’s your favorite holiday and why? I like all holidays but I especially like Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter because that is usually when the whole family gets together. I like to cook so it is nice to make a big meal for everyone. This year is the first year that we have a dog in the family. The dog is curious and occasionally jumps on the counter when food is in sight so I will have to be careful that she does not eat the turkey, ham or desert before it makes it to the dinner table.
If you could live anywhere, where would that be? I would probably live right here in New Hampshire. There are not too many other places where you can have nice summers, see the leaves change colors in the fall, play in the snow in the winter and watch flowers bloom in the spring. The mountains, lakes, and the ocean are a plus and you can always hop in the car and take a drive to Vermont, Maine, Cape Cod, NYC or Boston where there are good eats, sporting events, museums and lots of fun stuff to do!
