In Celebration of May’s Play Outside Day, Embrace Outdoor Play and Adventure by Registering for Summer Camp

As the days grow longer and warmer, the YMCA of Greater Nashua invites families to enroll their children in its 2025 Summer Camps, where outdoor play and adventure await. With camps running from June 23 through August 29, there is still time to register and provide your child with a summer filled with growth, friendship, and fun.

In celebration of May’s National Play Outside Day on Saturday, May 3, the YMCA emphasizes the importance of outdoor play in children’s development. Engaging in outdoor activities has been shown to improve physical health, enhance social skills, boost creativity, and reduce stress. Additionally, summer camp at the Y offers unstructured outdoor play so children can explore, take risks in a safe and secure environment, and develop resilience, all of which contributes to their overall well-being.
