Programs to enhance your health and well being

At the Y, a supportive community is a big part of wellness. At every age and every level of activity, you’ll find people just like you looking to live a little bit healthier, and our wellness programs are designed to help.

Wellness is about being active, making healthy choices, and feeling great in mind, body and spirit. Classes, seminars, and personal training at the YMCA address every angle to get you on the path to a better, healthier you.

  • Preschool & Youth

    Get your kids active inside and outside with one of our preschool or youth wellness classes. If you’re looking for classes to teach your child proper exercise and stretching technique so they can work out with you in our Wellness Center, these are just what you need. Boys Rock, Strong Girls, Superhero Workout and Kids Run the Y are some of the wellness classes we have to offer. Search the program listings below to view the programs.

  • Teen & Adult

    Stay active and focused with one of our teen or adult wellness classes. If you’re looking to focus on your strength, cardio, and endurance, these classes are just what you need. Adult Running Club, Personal Training, Pure SYNGERY, and Warrior Workout are some of the classes we have to offer at the Y. We also have seminars and classes that focus on relieving stress, improving your diet, and making healthy choices overall. Beating Osteoporosis Naturally with Exercise for Strength is designed for individuals that have or are at risk for developing osteoporosis. Participants will engage in strength training and impact activities aimed at maintaining bone density, improving strength, flexibility and balance. Try out our Intro to Free Weights and Barbells! You will learn how to perform lifts with great form and by the end of class you will feel confident in the free weight area! Let’s get lifting!

This is a strength training group for cancer survivors. Be ready to work! It’s an intermediate level class which includes weight lifting, cybex machines, cardio machines, and mobility work. A class designed for kids interested in using cardiovascular equipment only. This class shows kids how to utilize all aspects of cardio equipment on the wellness floor in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

C Body Blast

A full body group workout class which infuses body weight, hand weights, balance, athletic and plyometric training exercise. This class was designed to increase core stability, muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. Come to this fun, energetic, class and let your body have a blast!
