Program Registration

We Are Once Again Offering Programs!

We are thrilled to announce that we will begin to offer programs soon. Classes begin the week of July 13. Registration opens on Monday July 6.

Programs are a big part of the YMCA experience; connecting members, giving youth a place to express themselves and burn off energy with friends, and helping others to achieve mental, physical and spiritual goals. We’re happy to be offering them again. Due to current guidelines and policies, there are some things you need to know for this upcoming session.

  • Registration OPENS on Monday July 6.

  • Registration CLOSES on Sunday, July 12 and will not be available after that date.

  • Programs will be MEMBERS ONLY for Session F due to current State of New Hampshire Guidelines.

  • Program offerings will be limited to SWIM LESSONS and SPORTS SKILLS PROGRAMS due to current State of New Hampshire Guidelines and the YMCA’s space limitations.

Online Registration

Members will register for all classes ONLINE through our Program Registration Portal.

  • Welcome Center staff will NOT be able to assist with registration over the phone or in person at the branches at this time.

  • Members needing assistance logging into their account are asked to first visit our Personify Software Information Page first.

Program Registration Specific Details

Personify Launches

  • Register Online: All Registrations need to be made online through our Program Registration Portal.

  • Searching for Programs: The new Personify registration portal has a more elaborate search engine mechanism. Members are encouraged to use the filtering system within program portal. There are filter options for category, sub-category, branch, participant age, time of day and keywords; all of which can be helpful in targeting programs of interest.

  • Program Details: To determine any programs you’d like to register for or to research them either enter our program registration portal or visit the individual program pages for further program overview. Program details can be found in the program portal.

  • Registration Deposit: At the time of registration a $5 deposit, by debit or credit card, is required for each program.

  • Program Fees: Remainder of program fees will automatically be drafted to the card used for the registration deposit on Monday, July 20 after any credit on your account is applied. See below for more info.

Do You Have a Credit From the Shortened Session D Due to the March 2020 YMCA Closure?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we were forced to pause all programs at the YMCA in March of 2020. Any payments previously made for Session D programs are now set up as prorated credits for the unused portion of Session D programs on your account. This includes all arts and humanities, sports, dance, swim lessons, fitness classes, and music classes.

  • Credit Applied to Program Registration: After program registration closes, any credit will be applied to your program registration by the YMCA of Greater Nashua. If a balance exists after the credit is applied it will be drafted on Monday, July 20 to the debit or credit card used for the registration deposit.

New Program Participant Experience

We are excited to be offering programs again and will do so in a manner that supports the health and safety of our participants, members, volunteers, and staff. The New Member Experience details are further explained on our reopening web page, but below are the basics.

All participants and staff will have their temperature taken, complete a brief questionnaire and sanitize their hands upon arrival to the YMCA.
We’ll help participants to touch as few surfaces when they are in the program, as possible. Sanitizer will be available at check in, check out and through out the program.
Stay home if you're sick STAY HOME IF YOU’RE SICK
If you or anyone in your
household is not feeling well, please stay home.
Respect all signs regarding social distancing. Stay at least six feet away from others wherever possible. Class capacities will be reduced to help ensure social distancing is easier to observe.
Per State of NH and local ordinances, masks will be required upon entering and while in common areas. Masks need NOT be worn while participating in programming.
Use our core values of Caring and Respect and treat each other with kindness as we all navigate our new circumstances

What the YMCA is Doing

Our #1 Priority is to Make Our Facilities as Safe as Possible When We Begin Reopening.

Our facilities have undergone a deep cleaning to prepare for the reopening and although it will look and feel a bit different when you visit the Y next, the adjustments we’ve made to our facilities will help make it safe for everyone to enjoy the benefits of the YMCA.

Below are some of the adjustments we have made:

  • We have quadrupled our daytime cleaning crew.

  • There are more sanitizing wipes in the wellness centers and common areas; and we have increased hand sanitizers throughout the buildings. We ask that all members use the cleaning materials provided to wipe down equipment before and after their workout.

  • Our cardio and strength equipment are now either spaced 6 feet apart or have been taken out of service to promote social distancing.

  • We have installed plexiglass screens at our Welcome Centers

  • We have increased all staff training to ensure new State of NH Guidelines are understood and being followed.

  • We introduced a new member and program registration management software called Personify, that makes it easier to manage your accounts from home.

  • New Member Engagement Specialists have been added throughout our YMCAs to assist with any questions members may have.

  • We have removed all group seating in our public areas to discourage group gatherings. (There will be seating for those that need to take a rest.)

  • We have removed all YMCA provided personal equipment such as yoga mats, board games and magazines.

  • All staff will be wearing masks, when in public areas.

  • We will do mandatory temperature checks and brief health screenings for everyone entering the building.

  • Staff will be asked to stay home if they are sick.

We have used resources from the dozens of sources including: NH Dept. of Health & Human Services; Nashua’s Public Health Dept.; the Centers for Disease Control; and YMCA of the USA. We have had the opportunity to learn from our peers in YMCAs that have recently reopened. Hopefully you had an opportunity to offer input through our member reopening survey that was emailed in mid-May. We want to know what your concerns are when you return. All of our policy updates will be very visible on signage as you enter and move within the buildings.

Not Ready to Return to the YMCA?

We understand and know that not everyone is ready to come back to the YMCA and that we aren’t yet offering options for everyone due to guideline and spacing limitations. For those not ready or waiting on specific program we aren’t yet offering, we still have plenty of virtual offerings on our Beyond Our Walls Page and through or Member’s Exclusive Facebook Group for everyone to enjoy
