MAKE SUMMER MEANINGFUL

We're more than just a camp

Since 1921, Camp Spaulding has helped campers from all types of backgrounds enjoy the benefits of a traditional camp experience. YMCA Camp Spaulding helps to prepare young people for their future by engaging them in developing life skills.

Campers learn to become leaders for the causes they believe in, to live sustainably, to care for our shared environment, and to live cooperatively in a culturally diverse community. Resident camp nurtures the potential of youth and creates a sense of community among campers of all ages. through a wide variety of programs.

  • Resident Camp Experience

YMCA Camp Spaulding offers youth a safe environment in which positive values, personal growth, lifelong friendships, environmental awareness, and outrageous fun are key elements. Join us next session for an experience that lasts a lifetime!

TWO WEEK TRADITIONAL CAMP (AGES 8-15)
The residential camping experience is one of the strongest programs of the Y today. Led by adult role models, campers will live, eat, play and grow with their peers. Through all aspects of the camp day, the cabin unit becomes your camper’s home base and greatest unit of support.

RITE OF PASSAGE (AGES 7-10) | ONE WEEK CAMP
Maybe your camper is looking for a taste of what a resident camp is like; Rite of Passage camp is the experience your camper is looking for. Campers in this one week session get a sample of the resident camp experience.

    LEADERS IN TRAINING (AGES 16+)
A chance for our older campers to learn what it takes to become a positive youth development role model. Teens will be part of a cohesive team that will be essential in the operation of camp and gain experience working with campers. This program requires an application and a selection process.
